Attorney/Lawyer

We are looking for an Attorney/Lawyer to join a litigation practice in Lewes, Delaware, handling a range of commercial and corporate disputes. This opportunity is well suited for a lawyer with early-career experience who is ready to take on substantive casework, from pleadings through discovery and motion practice. Candidates with at least two years of litigation experience are encouraged to apply, and support is available for attorneys working toward Delaware bar admission.

Responsibilities:
• Manage commercial and corporate litigation matters through key phases of the case lifecycle.
• Prepare persuasive motions, legal memoranda, and other court filings with close attention to strategy and detail.
• Conduct written discovery, review produced materials, and help shape case themes based on factual development.
• Assist with briefing on contested issues by researching legal authorities and drafting well-supported arguments.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to assess risk, develop litigation strategy, and maintain progress on active matters.
• Participate in hearings, case preparation, and other litigation-related activities as responsibilities expand with experience.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience practicing in civil litigation or closely related dispute work.

• Active attorney status in at least one jurisdiction.

• Ability to draft motions, briefs, and other litigation documents independently and accurately.

• Working knowledge of discovery practice, including document review, written responses, and case preparation.

• Experience handling commercial, corporate, or business-related disputes is strongly preferred.

• Willingness and ability to pursue Delaware bar admission with firm support, if not currently admitted in Delaware.
