Logistics Analyst II

In support of Program Manager Advanced Amphibious Assault, we are seeking a Logistics Analyst II with experience in supporting DOD Federal acquisition programs; knowledge of policy/ principles/organizational protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Under limited supervision, leads and directs integrated logistics support (ILS) activities designed to provide effective and efficient life cycle support of systems and equipment.
- Recommends ILS element planning and progress to ensure compliance with program requirements, specifications, and standards, analyzes models and optimized distribution networks using advanced logistics software for location of sites, allocation of resources, inventory placement, and size, selection of transportation mode, freight consolidation, closed loop tours, and continuous moves.
- Provides supervision to Junior Logistics Analyst.
The specific requirements and tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Provide support to the PM AAA by assisting the PC with property management of Government Property (GP), (e.g., all PM AAA property) and Government-Furnished Property (GFP), (e.g., all PM AAA property provided to vendors).
- This shall also include maintaining and updating GP inventory records, acquisition, distribution, storage, and proper disposal of Government equipment and supplies.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with six (6) years of related progressive professional work experience in Life-Cycle Logistics planning and management with a minimum of four (4) years of experience in at least two directly related technological areas, including experience in all phases of logistics acquisition and logistics planning.
Specific/Preferred Requirements:
- Maintain property management records and metrics.
- Prepare transfer documents.
- Provide accurate accounting, tracking, oversight for moving and storing, and reporting of PdM ACV GFP by utilizing the ELMS, PIEE GFP module, iRAPT and the APSR.
- Must have proficiency in GCSS-MC is required to support property accountability functions, including the management, tracking, and reporting of GP and GFP.
- Maintain and update the PM AAA GP and supply inventories on a quarterly basis.
- Assist the PCs with coordinating maintenance and repair of all PM AAA GP.
- Position requires the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
Physical Demands:
This position requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, speak and hear, and to use hands and arms for routine work tasks. The employee may occasionally lift or move items up to 30 pounds. Vision abilities required include close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses.
Work Environment:
This position is performed in a typical indoor office setting with a quiet to moderate noise level.
