Join our HR Operations team as an HRIS Analyst. The HRIS Analyst Optimizes HR technology by owning the design, configuration, and optimization of the organization's UKG platform and related tools (including Docebo). Partners with HR, Payroll, and business leaders to translate needs into compliant, scalable solutions and serves as the primary authority for HRIS configuration decisions.

This is a remote position with periodic travel to Yakima for on-site staff meetings required. Qualified candidates must reside in Washington State, Oregon, Idaho, or California (some location restrictions within WA and CA).

What You’ll Do:

  • Assess current configuration and workflows; identify gaps/risks and recommend improvements to streamline HR/Payroll processes through system setup and automation

  • Design, build, and maintain UKG (and related) configurations as the system configuration owner with appropriate documentation, controls, and traceability

  • Manage and maintain an HRIS optimization and configuration roadmap/backlog; own intake, discovery, impact analysis, and prioritization decisions with effort sizing, dependencies, and risk considerations

  • Define solution approach with HRIS and functional stakeholders; make and document configuration decisions, establish configuration standards, and ensure alignment for build and long‑term support

  • Plan and execute configuration validation, including test scenarios/scripts, coordination of testers, defect triage, and go-live readiness sign-off

  • Primary escalation point for complex production issues and configuration defects; perform root cause analysis, document findings, and determine corrective actions (configuration, process, security, or training)

  • Lead HRIS configuration workstreams on cross-functional initiatives; coordinate tasks, risks/issues, testing, cutover readiness, and alignment across HR and Payroll

  • Maintain configuration governance documentation as the system of record (configuration workbooks, process maps, decision logs, SOPs, security matrices) to ensure consistency, auditability, and knowledge transfer

  • Own change impact assessment and stakeholder communications for configuration releases; facilitate solution walkthroughs/demos, define training requirements, and partners with trainers on delivery

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors and internal delivery partners; ensure configuration design is understood, acceptance criteria are met, and releases are delivered on time and within scope

  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other relevant field and at least 4 years of professional HRIS/HR operations systems work experience or comparable IT Business Analyst/Systems Analyst experience, OR

    • Associate’s Degree and at least 6 years of professional HRIS/HR operations systems work experience or comparable IT Business Analyst/Systems Analyst experience, OR

    • High School Diploma/GED and at least 8 years of professional HRIS/HR operations systems work experience or comparable IT Business Analyst/Systems Analyst experience.

  • Experience with requirements gathering, configuration/support, reporting, and cross-functional delivery through testing/UAT and go-live.

  • Experience coordinating configuration changes across integrated systems (e.g., HRIS and LMS platforms).

  • Experience with UKG is preferred.
