At Lutron, you’re hired for a career with limitless opportunity, not just a job.  As a key member of our manufacturing and product development teams, you’ll help shape the next generation of highvolume consumer products by applying DfM/DfA principles, designing efficient assembly processes, and supporting new products from prototype through full production. You’ll work sidebyside with product design, production, and tooling experts, gaining handson experience, expanding your technical capabilities, and opening doors to future roles in engineering leadership, operations, product management, quality, and more.

There are a variety of technical areas throughout the product lifecycle that you could encounter from day one, such as:

  • Development and effective documentation of standard work procedures and product manufacturing process notebooks

  • Industry standard techniques and best practices for manufacturing quality improvement, such as Six Sigma

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with product design, production plant, and tooling teams to design consumer products for high-volume manufacturability

  • Execute assembly line design and process development to meet labor and quality goals
  • Support production of new products, from prototype builds through transfer to a long-term facility
  • Collect and analyze process quality data for presentation to key stakeholders

  • Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.00
