Responsibilities

Provide support to the loan origination process, such as ordering, reviewing, and saving all necessary due diligence searches, including but not limited to real estate searches, UCC searches, flood certifications, appraisals, environmental reports, credit reports, background checks, and OFAC reports.

Prepare the approval package using the Loan Origination System in partnership with the Relationship Manager to outline the structure, terms, and conditions for new loan originations.

Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in making authorized decisions on smaller loan size transactions in alignment with parameters set by the Team Lead

Provide support to the loan closing process, such as determining pre-close items required for loan settlement. This includes, but not limited to obtaining insurance documentation, communicating directly with title companies, gathering data for beneficial ownership forms, and being accountable for satisfying all closing checklist items.

Ordering and reviewing loan documentation, coordinating loan settlements, and notarizing loan documents, when needed.

Provide post-closing support through scanning executed loan documentation, sending the loan for booking, processing, and submitting payments for loan fees/Attorney

Invoices and converting files into the permanent electronic imaging system.

Operates within the Univest risk appetite and avoids risks we cannot understand or mitigate.

Accountable for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to this position including the Univest Code of Conduct.

Perform other duties as assigned.



Qualifications

Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to communicate in a professional manner through verbal, nonverbal, and written communication. Engage with both internal and external customers by establishing trust, confidence, and making connections.

Detail-Oriented: Maintain strong organization and effective time-management to handle multiple priorities at any given time. Focus on small details when completing tasks in a timely manner. Establish and maintain a routine schedule to remain productive throughout the day.

Self-Management: Maintain composure in high-pressure situations. Ability to handle most problems/exceptions in an independent manner. Exude a professional attitude and willingness to be collaborative.

Software Proficiency: Microsoft Teams or equivalent, Video Conferencing, Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, PowerPoint and SharePoint

Prior Salesforce and nCino experience

Knowledge of small business lending processes and procedures

Prior administrative experience is highly preferred, but not required

Ability to work in a high volume fast paced environment

Wage Range:

The salary for this position starts from $50,000+
