The Enterprise AI Platform Manager is responsible for managing the firm’s third-party AI platform ecosystem from a technical, operational, vendor, and lifecycle perspective. This role serves as the primary IT owner for enterprise AI platforms and leads the evaluation, administration, implementation, vendor coordination, and escalation support for the firm’s evolving AI tool portfolio.
This position partners with key stakeholders and Business Technology teams to help ensure the firm effectively and responsibly leverages emerging AI technologies. The role provides technical input, operational recommendations, implementation support, and hands-on demonstrations to help stakeholders make informed decisions regarding new tools, new features, platform changes, and ongoing lifecycle management.
The Enterprise AI Platform Manager will serve as a key driver of the firm's AI strategy by monitoring the rapidly evolving AI landscape, evaluating vendor roadmaps and emerging capabilities, overseeing platform deployments, and leading pilot and implementation initiatives. They will champion adoption of enterprise AI tools by demonstrating their value, identifying and developing high-impact use cases, and supporting governance and approval processes. Additionally, they will manage and provide leadership for the Enterprise AI Platform Specialist, ensuring alignment with team priorities and successful execution of key initiatives.
The ideal candidate will combine strong technical aptitude with hands-on experience using enterprise AI tools, a keen curiosity around emerging AI technologies, and exceptional organizational skills. They can effectively translate evolving AI capabilities into practical business applications, operational priorities, controlled implementation plans, and validated use cases.
Essential job functions and responsibilities:
- Own the technical administration of the firm’s enterprise AI tool stack, including platform configuration, capabilities, and vendor coordination.
- Lifecycle management of enterprise AI tools and platforms from evaluation, through implementation, and support.
- Lead technical evaluations of AI tools, vendor capabilities, embedded features, and platform changes to support decision making related to AI tool adoption, vendor selection, feature prioritization, scalability, lifecycle management, and platform risk.
- Communicate AI platform changes and impacts to IT leadership, IT Security, Legal, Compliance, Data Governance, AI Operations, Service Desk, and other stakeholders, while supporting compliance with evolving firm AI policies and governance frameworks.
- Provide escalation support for AI platform issues beyond first-line Service Desk support, including vendor coordination and advanced troubleshooting.
- Monitor AI platform usage, license counts, cost trends, and utilization to identify overages, underuse, and opportunities for optimization.
- Partner with stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and prioritize AI capabilities and use cases based on business value, operational impact, governance requirements, risk considerations, and strategic alignment.
- Translate AI platform capabilities into practical examples, demonstrations, and implementation considerations that support informed decision-making and responsible adoption.
- Prepare technical review materials for new tools, new features, and major platform changes, including capability summaries, data handling details, admin controls, configuration options, support impacts, and implementation considerations.
- Coordinate with Learning and Development, and IT Communications to provide platform input that supports user enablement, training, and adoption efforts.
- Stay current on enterprise AI market trends, vendor developments, platform updates, and emerging capabilities, providing recommendations on product enhancements, model changes, new features, licensing updates, and upcoming releases.
- Manage day-to-day vendor relationships for enterprise AI platforms, including support escalations, product questions, roadmap discussions, release reviews, and implementation coordination.
- Manage, coach, prioritize, and develop the Enterprise AI Platform Specialist.
Qualifications:
- An ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of substantive relevant experience.
- Meaningful leadership experience required, including supervising a direct report, delegating work effectively, prioritizing competing demands, and organizing delivery through structured work management practices.
- Experience with enterprise AI tools administration, including Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude, or other similar platforms preferred.
- Experience liaising with IT Security, Compliance, Legal, Data Governance, Service Desk, and business stakeholders.
- Vendor management experience required, including support escalation roadmap discussions, release reviews, and implementation coordination. Experience evaluating, administering, implementing, and supporting enterprise AI tools or similar enterprise SaaS platforms.
- Strong understanding of AI platform capabilities, enterprise administration, user access, security considerations, vendor documentation, and platform configuration.
- Hands-on proficiency with existing AI tools, including demonstrating capabilities, evaluating practical usefulness, and helping stakeholders understand potential business applications.
- Ability to assess AI use cases for business value, technical feasibility, operational impact, user adoption considerations, and support requirements.
- Technical understanding to evaluate AI tools, including data access, integrations, admin controls, supportability, logging, reporting, and enterprise readiness.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical AI platform concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Comfort operating in a newly established role, using judgment, initiative, and flexibility to navigate evolving priorities.

Analysis Group offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package. The estimated salary range for this position is $130,000-$150,000. Compensation offered will be based on a number of factors including work experience, education, and skill level.
