Project Manager
Facility Services, Inc. (FSI) is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to support one of our strategic partners in delivering critical Base Operations Support Services at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.
This is a unique opportunity to lead a large-scale facilities and operations program that directly supports military readiness and installation operations. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact with Government representatives and provides leadership, oversight, and coordination for facilities engineering, maintenance, and installation support services.

Key Responsibilities
As the Project Manager, you will provide overall leadership, direction, and coordination of contract operations while ensuring all services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contractual requirements.
Responsibilities include:
- Serve as the primary liaison between contractor leadership and Government representatives.
- Provide overall management and operational oversight of all contract activities.
- Direct and coordinate management, administrative, and technical personnel.
- Ensure effective execution of all Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements.
- Manage staffing, employee performance, coaching, disciplinary actions, and recognition programs.
- Ensure employees are properly trained, licensed, and qualified before performing assigned duties.
- Maintain accountability for Government-furnished property and equipment.
- Oversee compliance with security requirements, safety standards, and operational procedures.
- Attend meetings with Government officials and installation leadership.
- Respond to Government requests and ensure timely completion of reports, deliverables, and performance metrics.
- Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, accountability, and customer service excellence.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of five (5) years of management experience supporting military installations, facilities operations, or contracts of similar scope and complexity.
- Demonstrated experience managing Operations & Maintenance (O&M) programs and diverse workforces responsible for facility systems, infrastructure, and equipment.
Certifications
- OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Certification.
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety & Health Certification.
Technical Knowledge
- Working knowledge of:
- GFEBS
- Maximo
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Additional Requirements
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to interpret Government regulations, technical procedures, and contract requirements.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Tier 1 (Public Trust) Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Department of Defense facilities programs.
- Base Operations Support (BOS) contract experience.
- Public Works, Facilities Engineering, or Installation Management experience.
- Federal Government contracting experience.
- Experience managing large, multi-disciplinary workforces.
Physical Requirements
This position requires standing, walking, reaching, bending, lifting, and moving materials and equipment throughout the workday. Employees must be able to frequently lift up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
