Job Description:
ITW Food Equipment Group LLC designs and manufactures commercial food equipment for food service and retail customers through its subsidiaries. The company’s products include ware washing equipment; cooking equipment, including ovens, ranges, and broilers; refrigeration equipment, including refrigerators, freezers, and prep tables; food processing equipment, including slicers, mixers, and scales; and kitchen exhaust, ventilation, and pollution control systems. SUMMARY
The HR Coordinator provides day-to-day HR support and ensures consistent administration of policies across the employee life cycle, including hiring, training, and employee relations. This role delivers reporting, technical, and analytical support while assisting employees and managers and contributing to HR projects. It is an entry-level professional position with primarily administrative responsibilities and some front-line interaction. This role offers strong career growth opportunities with progression into broader HR or specialized roles over time.

CUSTOMER FOCUS: Build strong working relationships with employees and leaders at all levels and deliver responsive, employee-focused support that enhances the overall employee experience and reduces complexity.
ACTION ORIENTED: Coordinate and support HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, training administration, and offboarding. Serve as a first point of contact for HR-related inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses. Maintain HR systems, employee data, and the employee file room with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY: Adapt communication style and tools to ensure clarity and impact. Engage in difficult conversations and maintain confidentiality across a range of situations. Handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion and sound judgment.
PLAN AND ALIGN: Prioritize effectively to support strategic HR objectives while ensuring daily operational responsibilities are executed accurately and on time.
DECISION QUALITY: Gather and apply relevant data to support HR strategies. Drive simplification and partner cross-functionally to resolve complex issues that impact current and future business needs. Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, policies, and employee experience.
ORGANIZATIONAL KNOWLEDGE: Maintain working knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and company policies. Support HR operations in alignment with company values and business objectives. Stay informed of trends and changes impacting HR practices.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Work Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field
Minimum of 1 year of HR experience
