Leasing Manager

Arlington, VA 22201, US Contract
Compensation: $24.70 to $28.60 Hourly

We are looking for a Leasing Manager to support housing operations in Arlington, Virginia through a contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role. This role blends leasing coordination, financial accuracy, and resident-facing service, with a strong focus on student housing activity and rent administration. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing reporting details, resolving account questions, and building positive relationships in a fast-paced property environment.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee rent collection activities and follow up on outstanding balances to support timely and accurate payment processing.
• Reconcile student housing billing records, investigate discrepancies, and maintain dependable account documentation.
• Prepare and distribute occupancy and revenue reports for external partners, ensuring data is complete and clearly presented.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for students and residents by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and delivering attentive customer support.
• Coordinate leasing-related administrative tasks for the property while maintaining organized records and consistent communication.
• Manage high-volume workloads during the beginning and end of academic terms, adjusting priorities to meet seasonal demand.
• Use spreadsheets and related tracking tools to monitor payments, leasing activity, and reporting metrics.
• Partner with internal teams and outside stakeholders to keep financial and occupancy information aligned and up to date.

Qualifications:

• Experience in commercial leasing, property operations, or a similar housing-related role.
• Strong background in rent collection, account follow-up, and billing reconciliation.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets for tracking, reporting, and data review.
• Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with students, residents, and partners.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail when handling financial records and reports.
• Ability to stay organized and responsive in busy periods with shifting priorities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working with others.

Compensation

$24.70-$28.60 Hourly
