Full Charge Bookkeeper - Part Time

We are looking for a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to support day-to-day financial operations for a part-time opportunity in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. This position is ideal for someone who can independently manage core accounting activities, maintain accurate records, and help keep financial reporting organized and current. The right candidate will bring strong QuickBooks experience and a hands-on approach to payables, receivables, and general ledger work.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee the full bookkeeping cycle, ensuring financial records are complete, accurate, and up to date.
• Process vendor invoices and payments while maintaining organized accounts payable documentation.
• Manage customer billing, post incoming payments, and monitor outstanding balances within accounts receivable.
• Prepare and record journal entries to support accurate general ledger activity and month-end close tasks.
• Reconcile bank accounts and review transactions to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain accounting data in QuickBooks and generate routine financial information as needed.
• Support ongoing accounting operations by organizing records and helping ensure compliance with established procedures.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience handling full-charge bookkeeping responsibilities in a detail-focused setting.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and confidence navigating day-to-day accounting functions within the system.
• Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processes.
• Experience preparing journal entries and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Ability to perform bank reconciliations and investigate variances with strong attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage responsibilities effectively in a part-time role.

Compensation

$23,000.00-$28,000.00 Yearly
