Payroll Specialist
Responsibilities:
• Manage biweekly payroll processing for approximately 150 to 200 employees, ensuring timely and precise completion of each pay cycle.
• Verify payroll information by reviewing time entries, earnings, benefit deductions, tax withholdings, and other pay-related data.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records and update information related to hires, separations, pay changes, and other status adjustments.
• Investigate payroll issues, respond to employee questions, and resolve discrepancies with urgency and professionalism.
• Prepare payroll reports and support account reconciliations to help confirm accurate payroll posting and recordkeeping.
• Apply federal, state, and local payroll requirements to help maintain compliance across payroll activities.
• Collaborate with Human Resources and Accounting teams to coordinate payroll inputs and support related administrative processes.
• Use ADP Workforce Now to manage payroll transactions and support day-to-day payroll administration.
Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of payroll experience, with 3 or more years strongly preferred.• Demonstrated ability to process payroll for a workforce of 150 or more employees.
• Practical experience with full-cycle payroll administration in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now is required.
• Understanding of payroll regulations, wage and hour rules, and applicable tax requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with payroll reports and data.
• High level of accuracy, organization, and discretion when handling confidential employee information.
