Human Resource Administrator
We are looking for a Human Resource Administrator to support day-to-day HR operations in Lavergne, Tennessee. This Long-term contract position (with potential to go permanent) plays an important role in payroll coordination, employee record maintenance, recruiting support, and responsive assistance for employees and managers. The ideal candidate is highly organized, handles sensitive information with care, and can manage multiple administrative priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Administer weekly payroll activities, ensuring pay-related information is entered accurately and processed on schedule.
• Maintain employee records in HR systems by updating job changes, compensation adjustments, transfers, new hires, and separations.
• Review attendance activity, track point accumulation, and elevate concerns according to established company guidelines.
• Research payroll questions, resolve discrepancies, and provide timely support to employees regarding pay and timekeeping matters.
• Assist with recruitment efforts by sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, conducting initial screenings, and arranging pre-employment steps.
• Prepare onboarding paperwork and support orientation activities to help new employees transition smoothly into the organization.
• Generate regular HR reports and organize documentation to support compliance, reporting, and daily administrative operations.
• Contribute to employee engagement programs by helping plan and execute workplace events and related initiatives.
Qualifications:
• 1–3 years of experience in human resources, payroll administration, or a related administrative support role.• High school diploma required.
• Practical experience with Workday, Dayforce, or a comparable HRIS/payroll platform preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage records, payroll data, and documentation accurately.
• Effective organizational and time management skills in a deadline-driven setting.
• Clear communication and strong customer service skills when supporting employees and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally and follow company policies consistently.
• Bilingual communication skills are preferred.
Compensation
