Real Estate and Finance Associate
A well-established, full-service law firm is seeking a commercial real estate attorney to join its growing practice. The firm serves a diverse client base, including public and private companies, developers, investors, financial institutions, entrepreneurs, governmental entities, and nonprofit organizations. Through a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach, the firm provides strategic legal counsel across a broad range of business and real estate matters. The firm is seeking an attorney with 3–6 years of experience handling commercial real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will have experience representing clients in acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development projects, and related real estate matters.
Responsibilities
- Represent buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants, developers, and investors in commercial real estate transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, amendments, easements, and related transactional documents.
- Manage and coordinate due diligence activities, including title, survey, zoning, and environmental review.
- Assist with transaction closings and post-closing matters.
- Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas to provide comprehensive legal solutions.
- Participate in client meetings and contribute to business development initiatives, as appropriate.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- 3–6 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions.
- Experience handling a broad range of real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and development-related transactions.
- Familiarity with real estate documentation, due diligence processes, and transaction management.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and client service skills.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Excellent written, verbal, and technical communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, or ability to obtain admission as required
Compensation
