Payroll Specialist
Responsibilities:
• Process full-cycle payroll for a workforce of more than 500 employees, ensuring timely and accurate pay distribution.
• Administer payroll activities across multiple states while following applicable wage, tax, and compliance requirements.
• Use ADP Workforce Now to enter, review, validate, and finalize payroll information.
• Audit payroll data such as hours worked, deductions, adjustments, and employee updates to minimize errors before submission.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, employee inquiries, and payment issues in a prompt and thorough manner.
• Maintain organized payroll records and support reporting needs for internal stakeholders and compliance purposes.
• Coordinate with HR and other business partners to ensure employee changes are reflected correctly in payroll processing.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience handling full-cycle payroll from data review through final payroll submission.• Background processing payroll for employees working in multiple states.
• Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now.
• Ability to manage payroll for a large employee population exceeding 500 workers.
• Strong understanding of payroll practices, deductions, tax considerations, and record accuracy.
• High level of attention to detail with the ability to work effectively under payroll deadlines.
