Network Engineer
Responsibilities:
• Lead the design, administration, and continuous improvement of enterprise network infrastructure across global environments, with a focus on resiliency, security, and operational excellence.
• Manage and optimize routing, switching, wireless, and firewall platforms using technologies such as Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, and Arista.
• Oversee network access control solutions and enforce secure connectivity standards for users, devices, and enterprise systems.
• Support hybrid networking capabilities by maintaining connectivity between on-premises environments and cloud platforms, including Microsoft Azure.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues using packet analysis and diagnostic tools, and drive timely resolution of performance, availability, and security incidents.
• Provide technical leadership for network projects, influencing architectural decisions and guiding implementation from planning through execution.
• Mentor and coordinate a small network engineering team, promoting strong documentation practices, accountability, and consistent service delivery.
• Contribute to infrastructure modernization efforts by identifying improvement opportunities and implementing scalable network solutions aligned with business needs.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree is required.• At least 8 years of progressively responsible experience in enterprise network engineering.
• Demonstrated background serving in a senior or lead network engineering capacity within a global organization.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco networking, Cisco ISE or similar access control platforms, Meraki environments, Fortinet security technologies, and Arista switching or wireless solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of core networking concepts, including BGP, OSPF, DHCP, DNS, SD-WAN, enterprise wireless design, and packet capture analysis.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Azure networking and hybrid cloud connectivity.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, organization, and technical documentation skills.
• Preferred qualifications include exposure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, automation tools such as Terraform, Python, or Ansible, and experience in financial services or other highly regulated environments.
Compensation
