Business Analytics/Data Analyst

We are looking for a Business Analytics/Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making for a long-term contract opportunity based in Arlington, Texas. This role focuses on transforming complex business and contract-related information into clear reporting, actionable insights, and reliable analysis for stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in business intelligence, data interpretation, and analytical tools, along with the ability to work accurately across large datasets in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Analyze business and contract-related data to identify trends, exceptions, and opportunities for operational improvement.
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visual summaries that help stakeholders monitor performance and make informed decisions.
• Review commercial contract information and audit findings to validate accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established terms.
• Translate raw and structured data into meaningful insights by applying data abstraction techniques and analytical methodologies.
• Partner with business teams to gather reporting needs, define metrics, and deliver intelligence solutions aligned with organizational goals.
• Use business intelligence and data analysis tools to organize information, evaluate outcomes, and support strategic planning efforts.
• Investigate data discrepancies, reconcile inconsistencies, and recommend corrective actions to improve reporting reliability.
• Document analytical processes, reporting logic, and data definitions to support transparency and repeatable analysis.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in data analysis, business analytics, or business intelligence-focused roles.
• Hands-on knowledge of BI reporting tools and data analysis platforms used to interpret and present business information.
• Familiarity with commercial contracts, contract language, and audit-related review processes.
• Strong ability to evaluate large datasets with a high level of accuracy, detail, and critical thinking.
• Experience creating reports, dashboards, and performance summaries for business stakeholders.
• Ability to abstract, organize, and interpret data from multiple sources into clear findings and recommendations.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to explain analytical results to cross-functional teams.

Compensation

$52.25-$60.50 Hourly
