Systems Administrator
We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to support, maintain, and enhance enterprise infrastructure environments. This role is responsible for day-to-day administration of servers, systems, and related technologies, as well as troubleshooting issues, supporting end users, and ensuring reliable system performance. The ideal candidate has strong technical experience, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work across multiple infrastructure platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and support physical and virtual server environments
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security
- Install, configure, patch, and upgrade operating systems and server applications
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and infrastructure issues in a timely manner
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
- Support Active Directory, group policies, file services, and related enterprise systems
- Assist with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes
- Maintain system documentation, procedures, and inventory records
- Collaborate with network, security, cloud, and help desk teams to resolve issues and improve operations
- Participate in on-call support or after-hours maintenance as needed
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure support
- Experience administering Windows Server and/or Linux environments
- Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and group policy administration
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Familiarity with backup, recovery, patch management, and system monitoring tools
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Understanding of security best practices for infrastructure environments
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms
- Familiarity with scripting using PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Experience supporting storage, endpoint management, or hybrid infrastructure
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA, VMware, or Linux certifications
Compensation
