Production Supervisor
Responsibilities:
• Direct day-to-day floor operations to achieve production goals, maintain product standards, and keep schedules on track.
• Lead and support manufacturing team members through coaching, performance feedback, and on-the-job guidance.
• Organize labor coverage, shift activities, and workflow priorities to align with daily and weekly production plans.
• Observe equipment operation, respond to production issues, and coordinate with maintenance when repairs or adjustments are required.
• Uphold safety, quality, and environmental expectations by reinforcing procedures and addressing noncompliance promptly.
• Train employees on operating methods, workplace policies, and safe handling practices to build a capable and reliable team.
• Review output, downtime, and quality results to identify trends and communicate performance updates to plant leadership.
• Work with cross-functional partners to improve processes, increase efficiency, and resolve operational challenges.
• Maintain accurate production records and assist with inventory-related documentation and control activities.
• Promote an orderly, clean, and safe manufacturing area that supports effective daily operations.
Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production setting.• Previous experience leading teams, supervising employees, or serving in a shift lead capacity is preferred.
• Familiarity with chemical manufacturing, food production, or other regulated industrial environments is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of production flow, staffing coordination, and shop floor execution.
• Demonstrated ability to lead by example, build team engagement, and drive accountability.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced onsite environment.
• Comfort using Microsoft Office and basic production-related systems.
• Exposure to procurement activities such as purchase orders, buying processes, contract coordination, or broader procurement functions is helpful.
Compensation
