Human Resources (HR) Assistant
Responsibilities:
• Support the HR Director and HR Coordinator with administrative activities related to employee records and day-to-day human resources operations.
• Maintain strict confidentiality while processing personnel documents and handling sensitive employee information.
• Organize, review, and categorize employee files to ensure records are complete, accurate, and easy to retrieve.
• Digitize and upload employee documentation into the company payroll and HR records system with a high level of accuracy.
• Assist with onboarding tasks, including preparing paperwork and helping new employee documentation move through the required steps.
• Coordinate pre-employment screening documentation and help track completion of pre-employment requirements.
• Use Microsoft Office applications to create, update, and manage spreadsheets, documents, and HR-related reports.
• Provide general support for employee relations activities by helping maintain documentation and responding to routine administrative requests.
Qualifications:
• Experience supporting HR administration in a detail-oriented office or manufacturing environment.• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms and electronic employee record management.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Experience assisting with onboarding processes and employment documentation.
• Understanding of candidate screening coordination and related HR compliance tasks.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to distinguish between file types and maintain accurate records.
Compensation
