Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Furniture Relocation Laborer to assist with moving, loading, unloading, and positioning furniture at residential and commercial locations. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
The Part Time Furniture Relocation Laborer supports PCI Support Services and reports to the project manager. This position is 100% on site.
Candidates will be required to enter federal government facilities and therefore must be able to pass drug and background screenings.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport furniture and household items safely
- Lift, carry, and maneuver heavy objects up and down stairs and through tight spaces
- Wrap, pad, and secure furniture to prevent damage during transport
- Disassemble and reassemble furniture as needed
- Follow supervisor instructions and work efficiently as part of a team
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, truck, and job site
- Treat customers and their property with professionalism and care
- Follow all safety guidelines and proper lifting techniques

- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 1 year verifiable job related experience required
- Well organized, reliable, and responsible
- Must be able to routinely walk up and down stairs, climb ladder, stand, bend, and carry items weighing from 50-80 pounds
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to adequately and successfully perform all aspects of this position
- Ability to lift 50–100 lbs repeatedly throughout the day
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual labor
- Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic
- Ability to follow directions and work well with others
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Prior moving, warehouse, or labor experience is a plus but not required
- Must possess a valid state driver's license
