| Job Summary | Nurse Residency Coordinator will be held responsible for the oversight, planning, implementation and evaluation of all activities related to the Nurse Residency Program. This individual is accountable to the Manager of Nursing Staff Development. This position requires the knowledge of and skill in: professional nursing theory and practice, leadership, adult teaching and learning, facilitation and collaboration, and communication. Knowledge, understanding, acceptance and support of the mission, vision, values, goals and objectives of the hospital are essential. |
| Skills / Knowledge / Abilities | The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail; exceptional planning and organizational skill; effective written and verbal communication skills; knowledge of web-based surveys and electronic communications; understanding data management; schedule coordination; conflict resolution and critical thinking. |
