Job Summary
Aurex is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our Procurement Department as a full-time team member. Reporting to the Materials Supervisor, this role supports warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping and receiving activities, and manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy and material availability to support production schedules and ensure efficient manufacturing operations.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while maintaining a strong commitment to quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 4 years of warehouse, inventory control, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing support experience
- Experience performing inventory transactions within an ERP system
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical warehouse duties
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or OEM environment
- Experience supporting electronics, telecommunications, or technology manufacturing operations
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
- Familiarity with Sage X3 or similar ERP systems
- Experience supporting inventory audits, cycle counts, and material control processes
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials, components, and shipments
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and receiving documentation
- Accurately perform inventory transactions within the ERP system
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, inventory audits, and routine reconciliation activities
- Pick, stage, and issue materials to manufacturing work orders
- Prepare, package, and process finished goods for shipment
- Coordinate outbound shipments and maintain required shipping records and documentation
- Organize and maintain warehouse locations to support efficient material flow and inventory control
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages, discrepancies, or material concerns
- Assist with production support activities and material movement throughout the facility
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Follow company quality standards, inventory control procedures, and safety requirements
- Independently prioritize daily workload to meet operational and production deadlines
