Job Summary:
The Assembler will assemble manufactured products and pack according to specifications.
Essential Functions:
  • Assembles machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, appliances, and more according to directions.
  • Reads blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then builds to those specifications.
  • Uses various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Maintains logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistencies.
  • Maintains equipment and conveyors and performs basic repairs when needed.
  • Inventories tools, parts, and supplies; contacts materials handler if supplies are needed.
  • Periodically checks products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolves any identified problems and alerts supervisor.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
  • Detail-oriented and consistent.
  • Works well as a productive member of a team.
  • Ability to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment.
  • Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.
  • Must demonstrate the ability and willingness to obtain an overhead crane permit as part of job requirements.
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
Background Prerequisites:
Must undergo and meet company standards for background check, employment verification, reference checks, physical, and controlled substance testing.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands

  • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time during the work shift.
  • Frequent use of hands, wrists, and arms for grasping, handling, reaching, and assembling components.
  • Regularly required to lift, carry, push, and pull materials or parts up to 50 pounds (assistance or mechanical aids provided for heavier loads).
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or climb as job duties require.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to handle small and large components with precision.
  • Capability to operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely and effectively.
  • Visual acuity to read blueprints, work instructions, and inspect parts for quality.
  • Tolerance for moderate noise, vibration, and occasional exposure to oils, solvents, or other manufacturing materials (with proper PPE provided).
