Job Description:
The Integrated Product Support Specialist provides programmatic, technical, and analytical support to Littoral Strike and Warfare programs, including LCS Seaframe (SF), LCS Mission Modules (MM), Gun Weapon Systems (GWS), and DDG 1000. This role supports program management activities, engineering coordination, Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development, configuration audits, and the preparation of program documentation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced Navy acquisition and engineering environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day program management support to assigned Littoral Strike and Warfare programs.
- Conduct organizational studies and analyses to assist in defining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and systems engineering requirements.
- Support development and updates to engineering calendars and Division Project Office calendars.
- Track, monitor, and maintain action-item status for program requirements, including schedules, planning documents, and data calls.
- Analyze and review program and engineering data to develop recommendations for leadership, sponsors, and fleet stakeholders.
- Assist in preparing presentations, white papers, schedules, strategy documents, execution plans, and program review materials.
- Plan, coordinate, attend, and document meetings, teleconferences, and program reviews.
- Research, collect, analyze, and disseminate program metrics and engineering data.
- Support the planning and execution of desktop and physical configuration audits; provide subject-matter inputs for configuration management products.
- Track and analyze engineering inputs and metrics related to:
– Performance and organizational management measures
– Program resource support plans
– Integrated Master Schedules
– Technical papers and program briefings - Provide general analytical, documentation, and project support as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need of employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance level Secret
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Business, Systems Management, or similar) or 4+ years of directly related experience in lieu of a degree.
- Basic understanding of program management principles, schedules, and requirements tracking.
- Ability to review and synthesize technical information to support reporting and recommendations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and comfort working with data-driven products.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience supporting DoD, Navy, or engineering programs in a technical, programmatic, or analytical role.
- Experience working with Littoral Combat Ship (LCS), GWS, DDG 1000, or Navy program offices.
- Familiarity with Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and tools such as MS Project.
- Experience with configuration audits or configuration/data management processes.
- Understanding of systems engineering principles within a Navy acquisition environment.
- Experience tracking technical requirements, engineering metrics, or program performance data.
- Prior experience supporting PMW, PEO Ships, or PEO IWS programs.
Security Clearance:
Applicants must have an active security clearance and/or the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance. Selected candidates will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a DoD Government- granted security clearance.
