Trial Attorney - Personal Injury & Med Mal

A well-established and highly respected plaintiff-side litigation firm is seeking a experienced Trial Attorney with significant experience handling complex personal injury and medical malpractice matters. This role is ideal for an attorney who is confident serving as first chair at trial and enjoys managing high-value cases from intake through verdict.
The firm handles serious injury and medical negligence matters and is known for its strong litigation culture, significant trial work, and results-driven approach. This position offers meaningful autonomy, a strong support staff, and substantial bonus incentives tied to performance and case outcomes.

Qualifications:

Responsibilities • Serve as first chair trial counsel in complex plaintiff personal injury and medical malpractice cases. • Manage cases from intake through resolution, including investigation, pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial. • Develop litigation strategy and prepare cases for trial, including working with medical experts, accident reconstructionists, and other specialists. • Conduct and defend depositions, including parties, medical providers, fact witnesses, and expert witnesses. • Draft and argue substantive motions, including dispositive motions and trial motions. • Prepare clients and witnesses for deposition, mediation, and trial testimony. • Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and case valuation strategy. • Collaborate with paralegals, support staff, and entry level attorneys to efficiently manage a significant caseload. • Maintain strong client communication throughout the life of the case.
Qualifications • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. • Active bar admission in Pennsylvania. • Approximately 10+ years of experience handling plaintiff personal injury and/or medical malpractice matters. • Demonstrated first chair trial experience. • Strong deposition, courtroom, and negotiation skills. • Experience managing complex, high-exposure litigation matters. • Ability to independently manage a caseload while collaborating with a litigation team. • Strong client advocacy and case development skills.

Compensation

$150,000.00-$175,000.00 Yearly
