Sales Manager
Responsibilities:
• Generate new business opportunities by responding to incoming inquiries and proactively reaching out to prospective customers across target accounts.
• Assess prospect fit by identifying decision-makers, understanding business needs, and applying structured qualification approaches to prioritize viable opportunities.
• Follow up on leads generated through campaigns, events, and other outreach efforts to keep potential customers engaged and moving through the funnel.
• Work closely with sales leadership to hand off strong opportunities with clear context, next steps, and supporting account details.
• Record calls, emails, meetings, and qualification updates in the company CRM to maintain accurate and current prospect information.
• Adapt outreach strategies and messaging for different buyer groups, including engineers, operators, technical teams, and procurement contacts.
• Build credibility with prospects by communicating product value clearly and aligning conversations to customer challenges and market conditions.
• Review pipeline activity, monitor progress against outreach targets and performance metrics, and contribute insights during sales meetings.
• Share observations on customer feedback, competitive activity, and emerging market needs with sales and marketing partners to strengthen go-to-market efforts.
Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of experience in business development, sales development, inside sales, or a comparable customer-facing sales role.• Demonstrated success in inbound and outbound prospecting within a business-to-business sales environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage technical and commercial audiences effectively.
• Experience working in CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar systems to manage pipeline activity and customer interactions.
• Ability to complete a high volume of daily outreach activities while maintaining quality, consistency, and professionalism.
• Solid organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities at different stages.
• Self-directed, coachable, and motivated by goals, performance metrics, and business growth outcomes.
Compensation
