Technical Product Manager
Responsibilities:
• Lead product delivery for payment-related capabilities, including areas such as core banking connectivity, loan and debt repayment functionality, and card transaction features.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog for transaction-processing initiatives, ensuring work is clearly defined and aligned with business goals and technical feasibility.
• Translate high-level objectives into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria that enable efficient execution by engineering teams.
• Partner closely with architects, developers, program leaders, and other stakeholders to move product initiatives from concept through release.
• Guide the development of technical product components such as APIs, SDK-enabled capabilities, user interfaces, or white-label solutions for financial institutions and credit unions.
• Evaluate and incorporate third-party platforms or SaaS providers when they strengthen product capability, scalability, or speed to market.
• Produce detailed product and technical documentation that supports implementation, operational clarity, and long-term platform evolution.
• Use market analysis, competitive intelligence, and user feedback to identify pain points and refine the roadmap.
• Communicate the value and impact of new features to internal teams, including customer-facing and go-to-market partners.
• Travel domestically on a quarterly basis for meetings with headquarters, customers, or industry events as needed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline.• At least 6 years of product delivery experience within payments-focused environments, including exposure to banking, lending repayment, debt servicing, or card processing.
• At least 6 years of experience in one or more of the following: API or SDK product delivery for financial institutions, digital interface or white-label product delivery for financial institutions, or B2B SaaS product management.
• Demonstrated experience working with scalable, resilient, and high-availability platform products, ideally in banking or transaction-heavy systems.
• Strong command of core product management practices, including backlog ownership, requirements development, user story creation, and acceptance criteria definition.
• Experience integrating external service providers or SaaS solutions into a broader product ecosystem.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to make sound, data-informed decisions.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically on a quarterly basis.
Compensation
