The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Villanova University welcomes applications for a nine-month visiting teaching position spanning Fall 2026 and Spring 2027, at the rank of either Assistant Teaching Professor (for those with a PhD) or Instructor. The teaching load is 12 credit hours per semester. The primary duties are to foundational courses in mathematics and/or statistics. Teaching upper-level courses is also possible. Our department currently has 45 full-time faculty members and is known for its collegiality. Our faculty are engaged and supportive, and strive to foster academic excellence. The Department provides a caring community in which students of all backgrounds can learn and succeed. Further information can be found at https://math.villanova.edu. Villanova is located 12 miles west of Philadelphia, which is the nation’s sixth largest city and home to many historical and cultural attractions. There is easy access to the Philadelphia International Airport and to nearby cities such as New York and Washington, DC both by highway and by rail.
