Position Summary
The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst (BIA) serves as the lead analytics, reporting, and data‑driven decision support specialist supporting the Program Management Office Support Services functional line for the Hill CEDC IT Operations & Maintenance contract at Hill AFB. This role provides advanced data modeling, ITSM analytics, CMDB/CRMDb integrity monitoring, change‑control reporting, and configuration baseline analysis across 2,000+ servers, 250+ applications, and multiple enclaves. The BIA ensures all configuration, change, asset, and ITSM data is accurate, traceable, auditable, and compliant with required standards. This position directly supports enterprise‑wide Configuration and Change Management, cybersecurity reporting, operational performance monitoring, and Program Management functions by delivering high‑fidelity analytics that drive operational decisions, risk mitigation, and modernization planning.
Responsibilities
- Analyze CMDB and configuration data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with approved changes.
- Identify configuration drift, missing attributes, and dependency inconsistencies and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop dashboards and reports supporting Configuration and Change Management, including impact analysis and change performance.
- Analyze incident, work order, and SLA performance data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
- Provide predictive analytics and operational insights supporting service quality, risk mitigation, and modernization planning.
- Support cybersecurity analytics, including vulnerability trends, system hardening status, and compliance reporting.
- Prepare analytics supporting RMF and C2C activities, including CAP package evidence and privileged access tracking.
- Develop reporting packages for Program Reviews, leadership briefings, and stakeholder engagements.
- Maintain organized repositories for analytics products, data sources, and audit evidence.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing traceability records, configuration snapshots, and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate with technical SMEs, functional leads, and Government stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and reporting alignment.
- Clearly and effectively communicate with SMEs, teams, and functional line leads.
- Ensure all analytics and documentation are timely and meet accuracy, completeness, and auditability standards.
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or ITSM analytics supporting IT or federal programs.
- Experience developing dashboards, data models, or analytics products using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of enterprise IT operations (systems, networks, storage, virtualization).
- Experience supporting Configuration and Change Management, ITSM processes, or CMDB/CRMDb data governance.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational and technical data.
- Proficiency with SQL, ETL processes, or data integration tools.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background investigation.
- U.S. citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- ITIL Foundation or ITIL Managing Professional certification.
- Experience supporting DoD data center operations or enterprise IT programs.
- Experience with configuration baselines, dependency mapping, or cloud analytics.
Working Conditions / Environment / Physical Demands
- Position is performed on site at Hill AFB, Utah, in a secure professional environment.
- Standard work schedule is Monday–Friday during normal business hours, with occasional evening or weekend work to meet critical deadlines.
- Core duty hours: Monday–Friday, 0600–1800 MST.
- Work involves extensive computer and secure network use, including prolonged periods of sitting and screen time.
- Requires independent work with minimal supervision, as well as collaboration with cross‑functional teams, subcontractors, and Government stakeholders.
- Occasional travel may be required for customer meetings, training, or program reviews.
