Position Description
The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is recruiting for an Assistant/Associate/Full Professor in Orthopaedic Adult Reconstruction. The position, with Texas Tech Physicians (TTP), is based in Lubbock, Texas and provides care for patients from West Texas and Eastern New Mexico. Our doctors at TTP utilize the latest treatment options to help effectively treat and manage all orthopaedic conditions and injuries. The position will have the opportunity to participate in resident education through clinical rotations, conferences, and journal clubs and to conduct research activities individually or in collaboration with faculty, residents and medical students.
Rank of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor and applicable salary are dependent upon candidate's qualifications and experience.

Major/Essential Functions
- Perform patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations and create treatment plans.
- Conduct joint replacement and revision surgeries.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and current medical records including surgical documentation.
- Outpatient and inpatient responsibilities with call coverage, OR time and clinic.
- Participate in the clinical medical education of students and residents.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO/MBBS.
- Completion of an Orthopaedic Residency.
- Completion of, or in process of completing, a Fellowship in Reconstruction.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible.
