DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Technology Sr. Mgr , Change Management & Comms located in Raritan, New Jersey, West Chester, Pennsylvania, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, Raynham Massachusetts, Warsaw, Indiana

The Technology Sr. Manager, Change Management & Communications plays a critical leadership role in enabling successful adoption of Commercial IT initiatives across DePuy Synthes. This role partners closely with Commercial, IT, and cross ‑ functional leaders to design and execute integrated change and communication strategies that drive engagement, readiness, and sustained business outcomes. The role has high visibility and impact, supporting enterprise ‑ level technology transformations that directly enable growth, customer experience, and operational excellence and reports into the DePuy Synthes Technology organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise and large‑scale change management strategies for Commercial IT programs, including digital, data, and technology transformations.


  • Develop and execute integrated change and communications plans, including stakeholder analysis, readiness assessments, messaging, and reinforcement strategies.


  • Partner with IT and business leaders to align change activities with strategic objectives and value realization.


  • Oversee development of executive‑level communications, presentations, and engagement materials to support leadership decision‑making and alignment.


  • Identify change risks and resistance points; design and implement mitigation plans to ensure adoption and minimal business disruption.


  • Lead and mentor change management and communications resources, including vendors and project‑based teams.


  • Establish metrics and reporting to measure adoption, engagement, and effectiveness of change initiatives.


  • Ensure change management practices are standardized, scalable, and aligned with enterprise frameworks and governance.


Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required (Business, Communications, Organizational Development, Information Systems, or related field).


  • Master's degree (MBA, MA, or MS) preferred.


Experience and Skills

Required:

  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in change management, communications, or transformation leadership roles.


  • Demonstrated experience leading change for large, complex technology or digital initiatives.


  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams.


  • Proven ability to develop and execute clear, compelling communication strategies for diverse audiences.


  • Experience applying structured change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci , ADKAR, or equivalent).


  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.


Preferred:

  • Experience supporting Commercial, Sales, or Customer‑facing technology transformations.


  • Experience in a global, matrixed organization within healthcare, medical devices, or life sciences.


  • Prior people leadership or indirect team leadership experience.


  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate technology change into business value.


  • Experience managing external vendors or consulting partners.


Other:

  • Language: English required . Additional languages preferred .


  • Travel: Up to ~10-20%, primarily domestic, with occasional international travel.


  • Certifications: Change Management certification ( Prosci or equivalent) preferred.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
122,000USD - 245,000USD

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
