Lead IT Security Endpoint Engineer
We are seeking a technology-focused security leader to drive endpoint protection initiatives across a large enterprise environment. This role is suited for someone who operates with an enterprise mindset—understanding how tools, configurations, and policy decisions impact users, systems, and scalability across the organization. The ideal candidate can balance security, usability, and operational efficiency while clearly communicating trade-offs and recommendations to stakeholders. This position plays a key role in strengthening endpoint security capabilities, including the evaluation, implementation, and optimization of modern EDR and endpoint protection solutions. Experience with CrowdStrike is highly preferred; however, strong candidates with expertise in other enterprise endpoint security platforms will be considered.

LOCATION: DALLAS, TX
SALARY: $140K - $155K
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing support of endpoint security solutions across workstations, servers, and enterprise environments
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to endpoint protection tools, escalating complex challenges when necessary
- Partner with cross-functional teams to implement security enhancements aligned with organizational standards and best practices
- Evaluate new security technologies and provide recommendations based on risk, usability, and scalability considerations
- Contribute to the endpoint security roadmap, driving continuous improvement and optimization initiatives
- Ensure comprehensive malware detection and endpoint protection coverage across supported devices
- Identify automation opportunities and assist in streamlining endpoint security operations and processes
Qualifications:
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience in cybersecurity with a primary focus on endpoint security engineering
- Strong knowledge of EDR platforms, endpoint firewalls, malware protection, and enterprise endpoint controls (CrowdStrike experience preferred)
- Solid understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems, along with enterprise infrastructure (servers, networks, cloud platforms)
- Familiarity with Azure environments, Azure AD, and SaaS security controls
- Experience evaluating and implementing security tools with an emphasis on risk management and user impact
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a high level of attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
