Billing Analyst
Key Responsibilities:
• Process complex billing transactions involving international orders, freight, customs, inspections, and job costing
• Review invoices containing multiple line items and allocate costs across numerous purchase orders and shipments
• Work through customs documentation, packing lists, freight charges, and product classification codes
• Utilize prebuilt Excel spreadsheets to calculate and distribute costs by product, quantity, and shipment
• Analyze data and identify discrepancies or billing issues that require research and resolution
• Handle high-volume data entry with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Understand and apply basic accounting concepts including debits and credits
• Learn and adapt to detailed internal billing processes and procedures
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure billing accuracy and timely processing
Qualifications:
• 2+ years of billing, accounting, or related experience
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working within spreadsheets
• Basic accounting knowledge with understanding of debits and credits
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to learn complex processes quickly
• Comfortable working in a detailed, fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work occasional overtime as needed
• Friendly, focused, and able to work independently in a heads-down environment
Additional Details:
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch
• Position Type: Temp-to-hire
• Dress Code: Business Casual
• Work Environment: Fully onsite

Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, accounting, or a closely related function.• Proficiency with Excel and confidence working with detailed spreadsheets and calculations.
• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles, including debits and credits.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze information, solve problems, and make sound decisions in complex situations.
• Capability to learn detailed processes quickly and apply them consistently.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, highly detailed onsite environment with limited supervision.
• Willingness to work additional hours when business needs require it.
• Detail-oriented, focused approach with the ability to work independently and maintain accuracy under pressure.
Compensation
