Trust & Estates Attorney

We are partnering with a long-standing, highly respected law firm in the Twin Cities metro to identify an experienced Estate Planning Attorney to join their growing practice. This firm has built a strong reputation for providing sophisticated, client-focused legal services and maintaining deep relationships within the community.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience and a strong background in estate planning, trust administration, and probate matters. This attorney will work closely with high-net-worth individuals and families, providing strategic guidance on complex estate and wealth transfer planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and implement comprehensive estate plans, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and advanced planning strategies
• Advise clients on tax-efficient wealth transfer, business succession planning, and asset protection
• Manage trust and estate administration matters from start to finish
• Handle probate proceedings and related court filings
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, particularly with high-net-worth individuals and families
• Collaborate with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals to deliver integrated solutions

Qualifications:

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to practice in Minnesota (or ability to obtain promptly)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in estate planning, trust administration, and probate
• Demonstrated experience working with high-net-worth clients and complex estates
• Strong technical knowledge of estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax issues
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and client service

Compensation

$140,000.00-$220,000.00 Yearly
