Financial Analyst
Lisa Cole with Robert Half is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization that is seeking a Financial Analyst to support finance with a focus on cost accounting, inventory forecasting, and operational finance. This role partners closely with Operations and Supply Chain to improve financial performance, inventory efficiency, and working capital.
Key Responsibilities
- Own plant cost accounting, including standard costs, BOM/routings, labor and overhead rates, absorption, and inventory valuation
- Analyze manufacturing variances (material, labor, overhead, yield, mix) and communicate drivers
- Develop and maintain inventory forecasts aligned to demand, production, and MRP outputs
- Analyze inventory KPIs including turns, and support reserve modeling
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning for plant operations
- Partner with Operations on OEE, throughput, labor efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support capital projects, fixed assets, and depreciation tracking
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis or cost accounting, preferably in manufacturing
- Strong cost and inventory accounting knowledge
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
- ERP experience required
- Strong analytical skills and cross‑functional communication ability
Compensation
