Human Resources (HR) Manager
Responsibilities:
• Lead day-to-day human resources activities as the primary HR contact for employees and managers across the organization.
• Address workplace concerns, conduct sensitive reviews of employee matters, and provide practical guidance while protecting confidentiality.
• Direct recruitment efforts for both hourly and salaried positions, including sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, completing pre-employment steps, and managing offer delivery.
• Organize onboarding and orientation to help employees transition smoothly into the company and understand workplace expectations.
• Maintain accurate employee files and HR data within company systems, including Dayforce, while supporting reliable documentation practices.
• Partner with leadership to administer performance review cycles, employee development planning, and compensation adjustments in a fair and consistent manner.
• Oversee benefits administration by supporting enrollments, answering employee questions, coordinating open enrollment, and serving as a point of contact with vendors.
• Review timekeeping records, approve timesheets, and work closely with payroll support to help ensure accurate employee information and attendance tracking.
• Manage disciplinary actions, separations, and exit processes in collaboration with supervisors while following applicable employment laws and internal policies.
• Coordinate employee engagement activities, recognition efforts, and company events that strengthen morale, communication, and retention.
Qualifications:
• At least 5 years of progressively responsible human resources experience, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting.• Demonstrated ability to serve as an independent HR leader managing a broad range of employee and organizational needs.
• Working knowledge of employee relations, compliance, recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, and HR operations.
• Experience using HRIS platforms and timekeeping systems; familiarity with Dayforce is preferred.
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local employment regulations and their practical application in the workplace.
• Effective communication and coaching skills with the ability to support supervisors, managers, and employees at multiple levels.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
