Staff Accountant

Overview

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join a collaborative finance team supporting a growing, multi-entity operation. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with leadership, contribute to process improvements, and play a key role in maintaining financial integrity across the organization.

Compensation

• $26–$30/hour (DOE)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries; maintain general ledger accuracy
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances
• Assist with financial reporting and internal reporting packages
• Partner with operations teams to improve financial workflows
• Support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls
• Analyze financial data and identify trends or discrepancies

Qualifications:

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
