Accounting Manager/Supervisor
Robert Half is working with a growing small business in the construction-related industry to hire a Controller / Accounting Manager who will lead accounting operations and financial reporting. This position is open due to an upcoming retirement.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Oversee AP, AR, general ledger, and payroll
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Supervise, train, and manage accounting staff
- Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations
- Coordinate annual audits with external auditors
- Analyze data to support equipment buying, selling, utilization, and ROI decisions
- Provide financial input related to rental fleet performance
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Several years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership experience
- Strong financial reporting and accounting operations background
- Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel skills
- Experience in construction, equipment, or asset-heavy industries preferred
Compensation
