Event Outreach Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Event Outreach Assistant to join our team in Oakland, California. This is a long-term contract opportunity within the non-profit sector, offering an excellent chance to contribute to impactful projects while expanding your attention to detail and organizational abilities. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting event outreach, administrative tasks, and project coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct outreach to firms and organizations through cold calling to promote event attendance.

• Maintain and update organizational contact lists to ensure accurate and efficient communication.

• Assist in the preparation of documents and presentations, including PowerPoint materials.

• Provide administrative support such as scanning, organizing files, and managing timelines.

• Coordinate event-related tasks, ensuring smooth execution and adherence to schedules.

• Support project management efforts by tracking progress and ensuring deadlines are met.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure successful delivery of assigned tasks.

• Manage master schedules and timelines for various projects and events.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in administrative roles, including document preparation and data management.
• Strong skills in cold calling and outreach to promote organizational initiatives.
• Proficiency in project management and timeline coordination.
• Ability to create and edit PowerPoint presentations with attention to detail.
• Experience in event coordination and planning.
• Familiarity with scanning and organizing files.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.

Compensation

$25.00-$29.00 Hourly
