Payroll Specialist
Responsibilities:
• Process complete payroll cycles for a workforce of more than 500 employees, ensuring accuracy and on-schedule delivery.
• Administer payroll activities across multiple states while applying applicable wage, tax, and compliance requirements.
• Use ADP Workforce Now to enter, review, validate, and finalize payroll data for regular and off-cycle runs.
• Audit payroll records, earnings, deductions, and tax withholdings to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Partner with internal teams to gather timekeeping, compensation, and employee data needed for payroll completion.
• Respond to payroll-related questions from employees and provide clear support regarding pay, deductions, and adjustments.
• Maintain organized payroll documentation and support reporting needs for audits, reconciliations, and management review.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience managing full-cycle payroll from data review through final processing.• Background handling payroll for employees working in multiple states.
• Hands-on proficiency with ADP Workforce Now in a payroll environment.
• Experience supporting high-volume payroll operations for populations exceeding 500 employees.
• Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax withholding practices, and compliance standards.
• High level of accuracy, discretion, and attention to detail when working with sensitive payroll information.
• Ability to investigate discrepancies, solve payroll issues, and meet strict processing deadlines.
