HR Director

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced HR Director to join a well-respected organization in Santa Rosa, Ca. This role is integral to providing strategic leadership and overseeing all aspects of human resources operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day HR operations, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and strong internal support
• Ensure compliance with all employment laws, policies, and proper recordkeeping practices
• Partner closely with Finance and other departments to align on organizational priorities
• Lead employee relations efforts, addressing concerns and resolving issues effectively
• Manage compensation structures and benefits programs to remain competitive and equitable
• Collaborate with payroll to maintain accuracy and integrity of employee data and processing
• Direct talent acquisition efforts, including workforce planning and recruitment strategies
• Drive performance management processes and support employee development initiatives
• Design and implement training and leadership development programs
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead continuous improvement efforts
• Act as a strategic advisor to leadership, aligning HR initiatives with overall business objectives

Qualifications:

• 10 years of progressive HR management with a minimum of 5 years of experience at the Director level capacity
• Must have prior management experience in government or nonprofit organizations to be considered.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations and HR compliance laws, including state and federal regulations
• Proficiency in managing compensation, benefits, and payroll operations
• Experience in workforce planning and talent acquisition strategies
• Demonstrated ability to lead performance management and employee development initiatives
• Skilled in policy development, organizational change management, and process improvement
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of conflict resolution
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field

Compensation

$180,000.00-$250,000.00 Yearly
