  • The pay for this role is $19.09-$21.48 per hour, depending on experience.

    About the role:

    Assists in coordinating the day-to-day activities of the Learning & Development department. Provides administrative support to the Learning Facilitation and Instructional Design teams and the AVP of Learning & Development.

    Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the set up and reset of instructor led training sessions, in-person and eLearning environments. Organize and prepare materials and supplies for Learning and Development courses, such as notebooks, handouts, flipcharts, job-aids, virtual material, or other resources.
  • Assist in scheduling and registration for Learning and Development courses and classes, and in preparing and updating course rosters. Assist with maintaining Learning and Development records and calendars, including completing records of participation.
  • Monitor Learning & Development Help Desk tickets for follow-ups and completions. Review Knowledge Center entries for accuracy.
  • Prepare or assists in the preparation and review of assigned reports.
  • Assist in delivering training in a classroom or in an eLearning environment.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Minimum Qualifications:

    Experience

  • Three years to five years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience. 
  • Education/Certifications/Licenses

  • A high school degree or equivalent. 
  • Interpersonal Skills

  • A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required. In-depth dialogue, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors can be of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature. Communications may involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance. Typically includes subject matter experts as well as first level to middle managers. 
  • Other Skills:

  • Routinely perform work in controlled, shared work area with minimal noise. Perform job functions independently or with limited supervision, and work effectively both individually and as part of a team. 
  • Demonstrate excellent writing skills and attention to detail, with the ability to research content, collaborate with Subject Matter Experts, and present information clearly. Develop learning materials, including participant guides, facilitator guides, and presentation content.
  • Maintain composure while meeting deadlines and requirements. Effectively manage multiple, simultaneous, and shifting priorities.
  • Exercise the highest level of discretion when handling both internal and external confidential matters.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in basic computer skills, Microsoft office and PenAir specific software.
