The Sprinkler Service Lead Technician leads individual jobs or multiple smaller, minimally complex jobs based on branch needs while remaining actively engaged in fieldwork. The Lead Technician may serve as a Foreman providing direction, coordination, and oversight to team members while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and company standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate service, maintenance, and repair activities for fire sprinkler systems.
• Supervise and support technicians and apprentices on job sites.
• Independently perform service, maintenance, and repair using hand tools and testing equipment.
• Plan and manage individual or multiple small-scale jobs.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards, local codes, and company procedures.
• Accurately and timely review and complete required documentation and service reports
• Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and leadership.
• Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to team members.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Travel to job sites as required.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Education/Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in the fire and life safety industry as a technician or above.
• Must have at least 5+ years of experience in a lead or supervisory role.
• NICET Level II or above preferred.
• Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, service procedures, and applicable codes.
• Must have a clean driving record and active driver's license (if driving is required).

Other Duties:

• Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
• Performs other duties assigned by management.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various environments.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Work performed in commercial, industrial, and construction environments.
• Exposure to varying conditions including heights, confined spaces, and active job sites.

Pay:

• $30 to $34 DOE & Certifications
