Accounting Manager/Supervisor
Responsibilities:
• Supervise and lead a team of accounting professionals, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
• Manage the month-end closing process, including preparation and review of journal entries.
• Oversee the maintenance and reconciliation of the general ledger to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Coordinate and support financial statement audits, addressing any inquiries or discrepancies.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve any variances in a timely manner.
• Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency within accounting operations.
• Ensure all financial activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Provide financial insights and reports to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address accounting-related challenges.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in accounting roles, with a focus on management or supervisory positions.
• Expertise in month-end closings, general ledger maintenance, and financial statement preparation.
• Strong knowledge of auditing processes and standards.
• Proficiency in performing account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
• Familiarity with accounting systems and software.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team effectively.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating across departments and presenting financial information.
