Striping Crew Lead | Part Time | Day & Night Operations | 1-800-Striper of Atlanta

We’re a parking lot and warehouse floor striping company serving the greater Atlanta area, and we’re hiring a Crew Lead to run a two-person crew. Part-time to start (~25 hours/week) with a clear path to more hours and additional crews as we continue our growth trajectory. You don’t need striping experience — you need to be the kind of person who learns a process and runs it right. Asphalt or pavement background is a strong plus, but we’ll train the striping itself. What we can’t train is reliability, attention to detail, and the instinct to take ownership of a job from start to finish.

What you’ll do

• Lead a two-person crew on parking lot and warehouse floor striping jobs
• Lay out and execute line work to spec — ADA compliance, fire lanes, layout accuracy, clean edges
• Run the job site: equipment setup, prep, quality checks, and leaving the site right
• Communicate status and issues clearly; keep the crew on schedule and on standard

What we're looking for

• Clean driving record — this is a hard requirement. You’ll operate company vehicles, and all drivers must be approved by our commercial auto insurer before driving for us

• Valid Georgia driver’s license
• Process-oriented and detail-driven; you’d rather do it right than do it twice
• Schedule flexibility: many jobs run during the day, but active sites like retail centers and occupied lots have to be striped at night to stay out of customers’ way. Some holiday work as well
• Able to perform physical work, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, bending, and working outdoors in varying conditions
• Asphalt/paving/striping experience preferred but not required — we train the right person
• Leadership experience (military, trades, or otherwise) that shows you can run a small team

What we offer

$20–26/hour depending on experience

• Part-time to start (~25 hrs/week) with a path to full-time and additional crews
• We provide the trucks and all equipment — and we train you

Schedule & details

A mix of day and night work depending on the site. Plenty of jobs run during standard daytime hours, but striping at live retail centers, shopping plazas, and busy lots happens overnight when the lot is empty. Hours vary with the schedule and weather. Atlanta metro and surrounding counties.
