Communications Specialist IV (US)
Responsibilities:
• Drive internal communication efforts that keep employees informed, connected, and engaged with company programs and priorities.
• Create, publish, and maintain digital content such as videos, photography, and written posts for internal websites, blogs, and related communication channels.
• Partner with business leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure messaging is accurate, consistent, and aligned with the organization’s broader communication approach.
• Use research, data, and relevant experience to develop recommendations on messaging strategy, content focus, and communication timing.
• Plan and coordinate the release of employee communications so announcements align effectively with company initiatives, events, and milestones.
• Track the effectiveness of communication campaigns and present results, insights, and improvement opportunities to stakeholders.
• Prepare and distribute internal materials such as memos, updates, and official notices in collaboration with management and relevant departments.
• Work with legal partners to address communication-related concerns, including content usage and copyright matters.
• Respond to media inquiries as needed or connect requests to the appropriate spokesperson or information resource.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent relevant training.
• 8 plus years of related experience in communications, internal communications, marketing, or a closely aligned field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Experience developing communication strategies supported by research, analytics, and business context.
• Familiarity with media production, digital content publishing, video or photography coordination, and blog or website content management.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
• Knowledge of communication best practices, content governance, and issue resolution related to published materials.
Compensation
