Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager
Minimum Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- 4+ years of experience in a high-volume processing environment
- Experience supporting multiple subsidiaries preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word; experience with accounting systems required
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency
Job Duties & Competencies
- Serve as liaison between Accounts Payable Payment Team and Supervisor
- Perform QA audits prior to check runs and ensure all daily/payment audits are completed
- Troubleshoot AP team questions, issues, and escalations
- Perform team lead functions including running holds reports and validating timely, accurate payments
- Train new hires on payment processing and team procedures
- Assist with inventory management of check stock and supplies
- Ensure daily outgoing checks are processed and sent timely
- Support creation and maintenance of process documentation
- Assist with monitoring daily workflow and team productivity
- Provide input for employee evaluations
- Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders
- Deliver consistent, detail-oriented customer service in all interactions
