Bookkeeper
Responsibilities:
• Record and maintain financial activity with precision by preparing ledger updates, journal entries, and transaction documentation.
• Oversee outgoing and incoming payments by managing vendor invoices, customer billing, and follow-up on outstanding balances.
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements regularly, researching variances and resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Generate key financial statements, including profit and loss reports, balance sheets, and cash flow summaries, to support leadership decisions.
• Assist with payroll-related recordkeeping, employee expense monitoring, and documentation needed for tax and regulatory compliance.
• Review accounting data for completeness and accuracy, helping ensure reliable financial reporting and audit readiness.
Qualifications:
• At least 3 years of bookkeeping experience.• Practical experience using QuickBooks for day-to-day accounting activities.
• Strong working knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Proven ability to complete bank and credit card reconciliations accurately.
• Solid understanding of general ledger maintenance and financial recordkeeping.
• Ability to prepare clear financial reports and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
