Staff Accountant
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to support financial accuracy, reporting, and operational analysis in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role offers a strong mix of accounting responsibilities, inventory support, vendor communication, and cross-functional collaboration, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze journal entries for balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with reporting and analysis
- Support physical inventory counts and inventory reconciliations; some travel may be required
- Investigate and resolve pricing variances
- Communicate with vendors to address discrepancies
- Process inventory adjustments and provide related analysis
- Serve as backup support for accounts payable activities
- Produce daily, monthly, and ad hoc financial reports
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Process-driven mindset and comfort working with financial systems
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong math skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- 2 or more years of relevant accounting experience
- Bachelors in accounting preferred
Compensation
