Accounts Receivable Clerk
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and on schedule while ensuring billing details are complete.
• Monitor outstanding receivables, record payment activity, and follow up with customers regarding open balances.
• Apply cash receipts to the appropriate accounts and maintain up-to-date payment records.
• Investigate billing questions or account discrepancies and assist in resolving issues through careful research.
• Maintain organized financial files and supporting documentation to promote accurate account tracking.
• Use QuickBooks Enterprise Edition to support daily invoicing and accounts receivable tasks.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders as needed to confirm billing information and support timely collections.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience in accounts receivable, invoicing, or a closely related accounting support role.• Working knowledge of billing processes, cash application, and payment tracking.
• Ability to manage commercial collections professionally and effectively.
• Experience entering invoices and maintaining accurate financial records with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Enterprise Edition is strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Dependable work habits and availability to begin on short notice are preferred.
